Join Reverend Al Sharpton, the National Action Network, the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), the Arab-American Institute, the SCLC (Southern Christian Leadership Conference), BIG (Blacks in Government), People for the American Way [I have not been able to verify that all of the above groups will be in attendance, but this is the text of the email that was sent to me], and others, as we journey to Washington, DC to pronounce our opposition to the Bush Administration's proposed Anti-Terrorism Act. Join us as we speak out on:

Diminishing civil liberties through legislation promulgated by the Bush Administration

Assault on the fourth and Sixth Amendments

Hate crimes perpetrated on Arab-Americans, Muslim Americans and followers of the Islamic Faith

Escalation of racial divisiveness in our communities ......and other issues
